ELIAS THOMAS IS OUR ONLY CHOICE FOR REALTOR

We cannot recommend Elias and EXIT Key Real Estate enough! We have sold several homes in other regions of the country and NEVER received the attention, service and hard work we did from Elias.

  • We appreciated the open and honest fact-based dialogue on pricing.

  • We thought the marketing was excellent especially the use of the web and social media.

  • But most impressive was the thought, time and energy put into selling our home.

  • We were selling a vacation home hours away from our home in Massachusetts.

  • Elias practically lived at our house helping to stage the property, identify things we could do to better present the property to prospective buyers, find local service providers such as plumbers, painters, landscapers to ready our property for sale and even be there to let those providers into our house and monitor their work.

  • In a very tough economy we were able to find a good family for our lovely lake house with and close within 30 days of listing!!!

  • We hope you have the same positive experience we did.

AFTER THE SNOWS...

This past weekend, the Lakes Region of Southern Maine experienced an anomaly - some TWENTY INCHES OF SNOW!!! The unusual weather pattern came and dumped tons of the whits stuff and the result was extensive power outages throughout the area. Acton actually made the news with the 20 inches record!
Since the usually beautiful leaves had not yet fallen from the trees, the snow simply added such a stress to the branches that branches snapped, trees fell and power lines were downed!
Even though we got an early taste of winter, we are still looking forward to a few more really nice, sunny days, when we will have time to rake the yard, prepare the garden beds for the next few months of bone-chilling cold, and get ready for the upcoming holidays.
Enjoy this weekend, which promises to be much different from the last one! And, come visit us in the Mousam Lake Region - we are only about 90 minutes from Boston, and we offer decades of dedication to the real estate industry, serving both buyers and sellers.
Happy FALL!

It's about "giving back"...

Over the past several years, Elias Thomas, Broker-Owner of EXIT Key Real Estate in Shapleigh, Maine, has spent a portion of each year giving back to his communities. These include his home town of Acton, as well as surrounding towns of Shapleigh, Sanford, Alfred and others. In addition, Thomas, through his deep involvement in Rotary International, has for the past eleven years, traveled to India, where he has particpated in NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION DAYS (N.I.D.) against POLIO under the auspices of Rotary International. Since 2004, he has led teams of Rotarians from throughout the world, to participate not only in the NIDs, but also to serve as common laborers, working alongside local laborers in various service work projects.

In 2009, Thomas initiated a Matching Grant with The Rotary Foundation, in cooperation with his own Rotary Club of Sanford-Springvale and the Rotary Club of Delhi - Megapolis (India) whereby through funding from Rotarians, Rotary Clubs and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, teams were able to assist in the construction of Toilet Blocks for use by women and girl children in a remote Muslim village in India.

EXIT REALTY INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

This past week, Elias Thomas had the pleasure of attending his first Annual International Convention of EXIT REALTY - held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. What an amazing experience!

Broker~Owners, Agents, Regional Owners, Directors and Head Office Staff, numbering about 1,500, gathered from every state in the USA and every province in Canada for a week of education, enjoyment and fellowship. Although Gaylord Opryland Resort was flooded less than two years ago, with more than twelve feet of water throughout the facility, there were no signs of the devastation and destruction. Everything was top notch and ship shape!

Internationally known speakers shared inspirational experiences and motivational moments. Speakers included Richard Flint - whose colorful stories help to create self-esteem and to shape lives of literally hundreds of thousands of business professionals; Stefan Swanepoel - best-selling author of SURVIVING YOUR SERENGETI and creator of Swanepoel TRENDS Report. Also on the program were Aron Ralston, whose 2003 mountain climbing adventure, where he became trapped in the mountains of Utah and survived only after severing his right forearm to escape, was the inspiration for the film 127 hours.

Founder of EXIT REALTY, Steve Morris, also addressed the attendees, as well as Tami Bonnell, president of U.S. Operations for EXIT and Joyce Baron, president of Canadian Operations for EXIT.

Those attending were also treated to the latest technological marketing breakthroughs, which will be rolled out to the general public during the National Association of Realtors annual convention in the coming week.
