This past week, Elias Thomas had the pleasure of attending his first Annual International Convention of EXIT REALTY - held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. What an amazing experience! Broker~Owners, Agents, Regional Owners, Directors and Head Office Staff, numbering about 1,500, gathered from every state in the USA and every province in Canada for a week of education, enjoyment and fellowship. Although Gaylord Opryland Resort was flooded less than two years ago, with more than twelve feet of water throughout the facility, there were no signs of the devastation and destruction. Everything was top notch and ship shape!
Internationally known speakers shared inspirational experiences and motivational moments. Speakers included Richard Flint -
whose colorful stories help to create self-esteem and to shape lives of literally hundreds of thousands of business professionals; Stefan Swanepoel - best-selling author of SURVIVING YOUR SERENGETI and creator of Swanepoel TRENDS Report. Also on the program were Aron Ralston, whose 2003 mountain climbing adventure, where he became trapped in the mountains of Utah and survived only after severing his right forearm to escape, was the inspiration for the film 127 hours.
