It's about "giving back"...

Over the past several years, Elias Thomas, Broker-Owner of EXIT Key Real Estate in Shapleigh, Maine, has spent a portion of each year giving back to his communities. These include his home town of Acton, as well as surrounding towns of Shapleigh, Sanford, Alfred and others. In addition, Thomas, through his deep involvement in Rotary International, has for the past eleven years, traveled to India, where he has particpated in NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION DAYS (N.I.D.) against POLIO under the auspices of Rotary International. Since 2004, he has led teams of Rotarians from throughout the world, to participate not only in the NIDs, but also to serve as common laborers, working alongside local laborers in various service work projects.

In 2009, Thomas initiated a Matching Grant with The Rotary Foundation, in cooperation with his own Rotary Club of Sanford-Springvale and the Rotary Club of Delhi - Megapolis (India) whereby through funding from Rotarians, Rotary Clubs and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, teams were able to assist in the construction of Toilet Blocks for use by women and girl children in a remote Muslim village in India.
